Rolls-Royce Opens Showroom Number Eight in China

In line with its strategy to expand its presence in Greater China,  Rolls-Royce has opened a new showroom in Ningbo, East China – the eighth in the country.  Situated in Ningbo, the latest showroom joins seven others in Greater China: Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

The launch follows a successful first quarter where sales of the brand in mainland China tripled, compared to the previous year. “The new showroom reflects our commitment to the Chinese market, already our third largest in the world,” said Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Asia Pacific Regional

Director, Paul Harris, who officially opened the new showroom commented: “Greater China continues its rapid growth and with a healthy order bank for both Phantom and Ghost models, I am confident this will be a record year for the market. As a result, we are already considering further dealer expansion into other areas of China.”

Rolls-Royce says it is experiencing “solid demand” for its cars throughout China, increasingly from customers in their early thirties or even in their twenties, proving, says the firm, that its brand “has been successful in broadening its appeal.”

Rolls-Royce has invested in 16 new members of staff and a service centre as part of the latest expansion.

The luxury car firm recently announced its first app for iPhone and iPod Touch, allowing potential customers and enthusiasts to configure their own Ghost, the new model from Rolls-Royce.

Rolls-Royce Ghost by Fenice Milano

Fenice Milano has unveiled their new Diva tuning program for the Rolls-Royce Ghost.

The hood, grille, side sills and mirrors have all been coated in 24-karat gold, as has the interior, along with custom teak, leather and Alcantara trim.

However, they did not announced how this new package will improve the engine’s output.

Mansory has unveiled the Mansory Rolls Royce Ghost program that brings new looks and upgraded performance to the luxury model.  The standard engine has been upgraded from 570 hp (420 kW) and 780 Nm of torque to 720 hp (530 kW) at 5,850 rpm and a very serious 1,020 Nm of torque.

Modifications include larger turbochargers, a re-programmed ECU, a sports manifold and sports catalysers. The Mansory Rolls Royce Ghost can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.4 seconds (with a half a second faster than the serial version) and has a top speed of 310 km/h.

The kit is completed by the enormous 22-inch wheels refined in the same golden varnish as the exterior. Inside, the car is described as an oasis for luxury and matches with the exquisite outer refinement perfectly.

The interior of the MANSORY Rolls Royce Ghost features various leather, carbon, suede and bamboo accents, a sports steering wheel and illuminated door sills.  The car was unveiled at the Geneva auto show in March.

Rolls Royce White Ghost Limited by Mansory

German luxury and exotic car tuner Mansory has released details of its latest project - the Mansory Rolls Royce White Ghost, based on the Rolls-Royce Ghost.

Painted in a subtle white, the car boasts a new front-end featuring additional LED daytime running lights and vertical air outlets on the sides.

The Ghost will also get new side skirts, rear view mirrors on each side, a rear spoiler, and a rear apron with implied diffuser and dual sport-exhaust-system.

The body kit is completed by the massive compact wheels with a diamond-polished surface measure an impressive 22 inches wrapped in SP SportMaxx high-performance tyres.  The two side doors swing open like a welcoming mansion, inviting you into the most luxurious interior you’ve ever seen.

The interior gets high grade leather with a cross-stitched pattern, headliner and dash board made of Alcantara, and sports steering wheel with bamboo inserts.

Power has been increased to 629-hp with a maximum torque of 634 lb-ft. That allows the Mansory White Ghost Limited to go from 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 180 mph.

The Mansory Rolls-Royce White Ghost is priced from 119.800 Euro plus basic edition, but if you want one you’d better hurry as the manufacturer will only build three units.
